Welcome to Sitaram Cable & Broadband Services ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, lead registration systems, and subscription services for GTPL Digital Cable TV and Railtel Fiber Broadband connections in Chitra, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. By initiating an enquiry, requesting installation, or paying a subscription bill, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
Regulatory Compliance Statement: Sitaram Cable & Broadband Services functions as an authorized local franchise partner/operator (LCO) of GTPL Hathway Ltd. and Railtel Corporation of India Ltd. All subscriptions, bandwidth allocations, channel bundles, and telecommunication standards strictly adhere to the guidelines set by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the Ministry of Communications, the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Subscriber Feasibility & Installation
All service requests are subject to physical line feasibility check by our technical team at the requested address in Chitra, Bhavnagar. Standard physical installation takes 24 to 48 hours from feasibility clearance. The subscriber agrees to provide safe and legal access to their building's terrace, risers, and wiring ducts for optical fiber and coaxial line splicing.
2. Hardware & Device Ownership
Any hardware provided by Sitaram Cable & Broadband Services, including the GPON/EPON Optical Network Terminal (ONT) wifi router, fiber drop cable, patch cords, or GTPL digital set-top boxes (STBs), remains the sole intellectual and physical property of the respective parent ISPs (GTPL/Railtel) or Sitaram Cable, unless purchased outright by the subscriber. Subscribers are responsible for maintaining these devices in safe operational condition. If a service is permanently terminated, all provided devices must be returned to our Chitra office in working condition within 7 days, failing which device charges will be recovery-billed.
3. Subscription Plans, Billing & Payments
Our baseline services start from ₹199/month for GTPL Digital Cable TV signal connections and ₹299/month for Railtel Fiber broadband internet packages. Subscriptions are billed in advance cycles (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually). All renewal payments must be made before the expiry date to avoid automated line suspensions. Payments can be processed securely through online UPI transfers to our business hotline +91 98250 39825 or through official GTPL/Railtel customer portals. Sitaram Cable & Broadband guarantees transparent billing without hidden surcharges or surprise activation fees.
4. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Broadband internet bandwidth is provided strictly for lawful personal, commercial, or institutional use. Subscribers must NOT use the provided Railtel/GTPL bandwidth for:
- Hosting unlicensed public servers or distributing unauthorized copyright material.
- Any activity that violates the cyber laws of India under the IT Act 2000, including hacking, phishing, spamming, or accessing banned/illegal portals.
- Reselling bandwidth or sharing cable feeds to external properties without a validated commercial ISP contract.
Any breach of these cyber safety terms will result in immediate termination of service and report submission to the appropriate law enforcement agencies under the Indian Penal Code.
5. Service Levels, Maintenance & Outages
While we strive to maintain a 99.9% network uptime across Chitra distribution nodes, services may experience intermittent outages due to force majeure events, including storm damage, municipal road excavation causing fiber cuts, or power grid failures. Sitaram Cable's physical splicing crew stands on call to resolve local physical node issues promptly. Scheduled maintenance windows (e.g., node battery optimization or firmware patches) are announced on our Status Board in advance.
6. Data Protection & Consent
We process your personal subscriber data, including your name, contact phone, installation address, and billing logs, in strict alignment with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023. By activating a connection, you authorize Sitaram Cable & Broadband to store these operational logs on Cloudflare D1 databases for service coordination and TRAI validation requirements.
7. Refunds & Terminations
Subscription payments are pre-booked with parent telecom systems and are non-refundable once the service cycle has been activated. New installation charges, if paid in advance, are fully refundable only if physical feasibility fails or we are unable to splice a feed to your address within 7 days. Subscribers wishing to discontinue services must request termination at least 5 days prior to their next billing date.
8. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
Sitaram Cable & Broadband Services functions as a local franchisee and shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service interruptions, speed variations, or transmission drops. These terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
